About Intercept

Intercept Fabric Rescue, a not-for-profit, volunteer group based in Whangarei, New Zealand - helping the planet by saving beautiful fabrics that would otherwise end up in the landfill.

Where can you find us?

We work out of the Salvation Army Family Store on Vine Street, Whangarei NZ

What we do:

Volunteers create upcycled items with rescued textiles to sell in the Intercept shop.

We also help to redistribute textiles, clothing and bedding where it can be used.

We save denim, cotton, linen, wool, silk, rayon, fur, leather, buttons, t-shirts, good quality clothing and bedding, childrens and adults costumes and more.

All profit returns to the Salvation Army.
